“Uber for Alcohol” Startup Drizly Teams with The Mobile Majority

The Mobile Majority is happy to announce that they have partnered up with Drizly, a technology company powering fast, convenient beer, wine and liquor delivery for consumers and businesses across the U.S. Other partners include MillerCoors, Distiller, Foursquare, Button, and xAd.

Today, Drizly released its API and developer platform, the first of its kind, which allow alcohol e-commerce for social networks, brands, and publishers alike. Using the API allows convenient, responsible alcohol delivery from within consumer media apps and experiences, all while remaining 3-tier compliant. All purchases will be delivered to the user’s home address within an hour.

The Mobile Majority’s comprehensive mobile marketing platform will provide the support for delivering ad media for this ground-breaking, cross-platform turnkey delivery service. Partners with Drizly can easily customize the API’s infrastructure for their own campaigns and branding opportunities. Use of The Mobile Majority’s ad platform will take specified ad delivery for liquor and beer companies to the next level with its existing user base of 225 million US adults, unrivaled geolocation capabilities, AudienceArchitect and RealMatch.

For example, Drizly and MillerCoors have teamed up to kick off the launch with a promotion that offers free delivery for a limited time of its Miller Lite 12- and 24-packs. This is the first time an American brewery has teamed up with an e-commerce company, and signals a big shift in the way consumers are purchasing using mobile.
