Rob Emrich, leading the team of The Mobile Majority, was honored with making the socalTECH 50 this year. Over the last two years, Southern California’s tech industry has boomed, with industry leaders flocking to the region, attracted to the area’s many opportunities. socalTECH has been covering and promoting Southern California technology since 1998, and for the last two years has been naming the top fifty SoCal movers and shakers on their Ones to Watch list.
Emrich and The Mobile Majority will be joining the ranks with such names as Ryan Cummins and Matt Pohlson of Omaze, Will Kassoy of AdColony, Julie Uhrman of OUYA and Ian Siegel of ZipRecruiter. The list includes gaming companies, solution companies, biopharmaceutical companies, and commercial ventures. The Mobile Majority’s presence as a mobile-driven ad company is notable, and emphasizes the unique space the company occupies in the advertising industry.
All 50 on the socalTECH 50 list will be honored at the Digital Family Reunion on December 10th at the Skirball Cultural Center. From their site:
“The SoCal tech scene continues to expand at an unprecedented rate. This year, LA-based start-ups focused on branded content, apps, and big data, and together raised more capital than any other city in the world after Silicon Valley.”
Congratulations to all of the Ones to Watch in SoCal from The Mobile Majority.
