The Mobile Majority Takes Home “Best of Show” at 2014 Mobile Mafia Awards

by | Oct 1, 2014

Awards season is upon us here in LA. And while we’re not ready to share our picks for the Oscars this year, we are proud to announce that The Mobile Majority was awarded “Best of Show” at the 2014 Mobile Mafia Awards during Advertising Week on Monday, September 29 in New York City.

The Mobile Majority was recognized as this year’s stand out mobile effort from a brand, agency, publisher, or individual.

The awards were organized by the Mobile Media Summit which recognizes the best mobile innovators of the past year. Perhaps most exciting is the fact that we received the award from a group of our peers – including judges from Universal McCann, Accuen Media, McCann Erickson, and Intel.

Award Details

The “Best of Show” award was given specifically for a fully interactive mobile experience built for Paramount promoting the film Transformers 4 (see the campaign in action).

The campaign drove awareness and ticket sales for the film by showing viewers a fully branded mobile ad containing the film trailer. After users clicked to play, they were offered the chance to enter a sweepstakes and win an all-expenses-paid trip to New York, as well as tickets to the film premiere.

The ad was trafficked successfully using AdKit, our mobile ad container that allows for universal delivery, and avoidance of fraud, compromised viewability, and low-quality creative – a few of the most significant issues in the mobile ad space today.

Special thanks to Paramount for their willingness to push the envelope with an innovative mobile experience and to the Mobile Media Summit for organizing the awards.
